Photography has, one way or the other, changed my life ever since. As they, most of the time emotions trigger our strengths. I remember being so down the first time I got my heart broken. Unlike words, photographs have done exactly the same thing to me. That is to communicate words unsaid.

For the past couple of days, I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with my future. It’s not an easy task to do so especially now that I’m nearing the end of my teen years. The future is like this big question that marks every space inside my mind and my heart. My mother always tells me to go after what I desire, while my dad keeps telling to make smarter decisions in life.

Perhaps my communication arts dreams I have here in the Philippines would not push through, that’s because something bigger awaits me on the other side of the globe.

I took a 7 week coast to coast road trip after being laid off from Boeing. I didn’t have a camper but realized that being able to pull off the road at a rest or truck stop was the way to go to make the trip affordable. With a few sheets of 1/2” plywood and misc. hardware this is what I came up with. The effort was well worth the time and materials.

This is my dream roadtrip

It was this cold Monday night. Yes it is cold, but not to the point that the loneliness consumes my whole being. Just that amount of coolness enough for my physical attributes to yearn for your warm long arms.

Tonight, I’m getting back to the old days. To the good old days of my mother and father dancing to some happy 80’s tunes. Cause one day I’ll look back to this particular night, and I shall never forget that this was the night I went home with Roxette.
